After I installed VS 2005 on my machine, all CHM help files in my system have stopped working!! The index tab is blank! Search reveals no results!
Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

After I installed VS 2005 on my machine, all CHM help files in my system have stopped working!! The index tab is blank! Search reveals no results!
Can anyone tell me how to fix it?
I did not have this same problem, but I had a similar one where after installing VS2005 the VS2005 help system did not work.

However, Microsoft's answer in this link was not adequate. I eventually had to:
1) Log in as Admin
2) Find the "Document and Settings" folder for my normal ID
3) Rename the temporary Internet Files folder to anything else
4) Create a brand new folder named Temporary Internet Files (which is, of course, empty)
5) Log back in as my usual ID, at which point the issue was resolved.

No its not working!!
In fact I found not only MSDN but none of the help files of other softwares are working.!!!! :(
Did you install 2005 in the same directory as your VB 6 install?
No both are in different directiories.
Non of my CHM help files are working.
