Alrighty party people. I've got some time I want to relax (alternatively: waste), so I've decided to share with you all some of my most meaningful research. I will share with you now some of my theories linking 69 to the rest of the universe.
69 and the meaning of life
I expect most of you would have seen/read the hitch-hikers guide to the galaxy. For those of you who have not, it is shared with us that the ultimate answer to life, the universe, and everything (hereafter refered to as the meaning of life) is 42. For those who have seen the ending, you also know the question (and I'll put a small tidbit about that down the end of this piece). With all that said, it seems like a good place to start realising the connection of 69 with the fabric of the universe:
(1) 42
(2) 69
(3) 6 = 4 + 2
(4) Six and nine are simple functions of one another (ie, if you draw a six on a piece of paper and move that paper around, you can get a 9)
(5) In (3), we notice there is no nine, but there is a 6. Combining (3) and (4), we can move the equation around to a the messy "+492=".
(6) Combining (1) and (2) merits 4269
(7) Combining (6) and (5) we arrive at "4269+492="
(8) (7) resolves to 4761.
(9) We can now see a fundamental 69 appearing within the equation. We know that 69^2 (that's squared for you people not familiar with this notation) is equal to 4761. But that's also what we got for (7).
Thus, using some fundamental knowledge of 69, I have managed to link 42 and 69. If you are still not convinced, read on...
69 and pi
pi is a number that also has cosmic meaning. I have not encountered a school graduate who has not heard of pi. Also, there are numerous applications of pi (working with circular objects, memorising pointless number, making jokes about eating pi... I'm sure you can come up with many more). Given that evidence, one can hardly doubt the intricate meaning and importance of pi within the universe. As such, let us now compare pi with 69:
(0) We work in a decimal system. As such, it seems fair to work with numbers to their 10th decimal places under the decimal system for this proof. For demonstration purposes, I will line up all both (1) and (2) with a handy dp marker for your convience.
(1) pi to 10dps: 3.1415926536 (the last digit is rounded up, but it is not used directly in the proof, so that is irrelivant)
(2) 69 does not have 10 dps. However, given we used squaring of 69 in our first proof, it seems fair to balance that out with a square root here. Thus squareRoot(69) to 10dps: 8.3066238629 (the last digit is not rounded up here. This is important)
(3)Combining (1) and (2) gives us this:(4) Looking for a common number within pi and 69, we notice the combination 926 within pi and 629 with squareRoot(69). As these are simple functions of one another (reversed), the easily fall within acceptable parameters for proving the relationship (as 6 and 9 are simple functions of one-another). As such, I have bolded the number sequence for clarity.Code:dps: 0 1 2 3 4 5 [b]6[/u] 7 8 [b]9[/u] 10
pi: 3.1 4 1 5 9 2 6 5 3 6
69: 8.3 0 6 6 2 3 8 6 2 9
(5) We know the significance of the 69 and the 96 (simply 69 in reverse), but what of the 2's in the middle? Well, I invite you to investigate the decimal places of both 2's. Again, for clarity I have underlined the relevant material for your observantion.
(6) Combining (4) and (5) we have a triangle of 6's and 9's fundamentally linking pi with 69 through the modest triangle. As any geometric shape can be expressed as a combination of triangles (and pi is also fundamental to geometry), we can again see the significance of 69.
For those non-believers of you still not convinced, I will share more intimate secrets of 69 and, through it, the universe.
69 and 8
Following our discussion of pi, it seems logical to consider 8. I suggest this, as 8 is also a mystical number having multiple meanings. Though we tend to consider the standard form of 8 ('eight') when we encounter it, there is an alternate form most of us would be aware of ('ate'). Given that we discussed pi, I ask you this: what do you do with pi? (hint: it has something to do with 'ate'). Similarly, the more gutter-minded (read: enlightened) of you may have also noticed the relationship between 'ate' and 69, but I digress. In full I attempt now to show the fundamental connection between 69 and 8... But is that not enough for you? Alright then, I will bring in all we already know about 69. So this proof should now be renamed:
69 and 8 (and 42 and pi as well)
Without further discussion, lets us investigate:
(1) 6 * 69 = 414
(2) 9 * 69 = 621
(3) Combining (2) and (1) for ease of reading gives us 621414
(4) Rearranging (3) gives up 426411 (allowed given the relationship of 6 and 9)
(5) Finally, seperating into managed segments gives us these: 42, 64, 11, which will be refered to as (5a), (5b), and (5c) respectively
(6) From (5b) we have 64 = 8^2
(7) Rearranging (6) and (5c) (again using our principle of the relationship between 6 and 9) gives 8 and 11^2 (hereafter (7a) and (7b)
(8) So we are left with (5a) 42, (7a) 8, and (7b) 11^2. We know the significance of 42 already, and 8 is the relationship we are trying to prove, but what of this elusive 11^2. To finish this proof is exceptionally difficult using a computer keyboard, but I will try never-the-less.
(9) ~ and 2. Compare. Consider. One will notice that ~ is simple a 2 that has been rotated to its side (principle of relationship of 6 and 9). So putting this back with 11 gives us this:Familar? It is in fact pi in disguise! If you cannot see what I mean, try drawing a tilde (~) slightly larger than that one and two vertical lines below it. Like I said it is difficult with a computer keyboard, but it works!Code:~

Still not enough? Well, I need to move on to other 69-related parts of my life, but I think I can manage one more today. Read on for my grand finish...
69 and 3
What is 3? Why use 3? Well I'm a little tired, so I can't explain all the detail right now, but suffice to say that 3 resembles key parts of the male and female anatomy which of course is related to 69. However, there is more to this mystery than you might initially see. Let us begin.
(1) 3 is 3. Rather boring really
(2) However, 3^3 is 27. We can see that 2+7 = 9 which relates to 3^2 thus creating a magnificent loop there, but let us stick with 27 for this proof.
(3) 27... 27... what to do... what to do... hmm... well, we all love addition and subtraction, and they are fundamental to mathematics, science, and (some say) the universe. So let us use these modest operations for the rest of the proof... hmm...
(4) (3a) addition... Let's add 69 and 27... ... ... that's 96! That's a simple relationship back to 69 (fundamental relationship between 6 and 9).
(5) (3b) subtraction... ... ... Alright... Let's subract 27 from 69... ... ... that 42... ! Wait a tic! Is that the fundamental meaning of life, the universe, and everything poping up again? Wow!
So if you follow these proofs, you will see as easily as 123 (96 + 27 or 69 + 27 + 27 if you like) that 69 has a fundamental role within our universe. [cheesy matrix quote-et]It is what creates us... what binds us... what guides us..."[/cheesy matrix quote-et]... I hope you enjoyed these proofs and life shares its innermost secrets with you after you embrace the unity of the 69 (notice the resemblence to ying and yang here)... I could go on for hours, but I will leave it to your imagination and exploration to find more ways 69 links into everything that is...
Love and kisses to all ;)
:rolleyes:
ChitChat is dedicated to pointless threads only, this thread obviously does not fall under that category. Please put this thread where the sun doesn't shine :thumb:
:D
69 = 23 * 3
96 = 32 * 3
42 = 14 * 3
24 = 8 * 3
and so on...
also, 3 is the first digit of pi.
I therefore conclude that 3 is the secret of the secrets of the universe.
Could anyone please show these calculations in binary... if it's not a problem
Not at all!
1 + 0 = 10
There are 10 types of people in the world, those that don't understand binary and those that are sick of binary jokes.
Hence, my three eyes. Worship me.Quote:

i like the universe
I just felt it was too good to keep to myself... That's only the tip of the iceberg as well... I did this over three years and came up with a lot more... I felt that they were sufficiently odd that most people would slander me for putting it anywhere but a chit-chat forum.Quote:
