Bill, what are they using to block sites?

they tried that here... didnt take long to find the script and kill it :)
I just used regedit to re-enable the connections tab, and removed the proxy script.. lol.

Proventia Web Filter - Problem is, I don't have access to the Proxy server.

neither do i. but here they use a script.. which, in IE, is just a setting, "Use automatic configuration script" (connections tab, LAN settings) ;)

It seems that they think they're smart around here... the "Use Automatic Configuration Script" setting is unticked... :(

:p try using another browser like put ff on your flashdrive :p that's what i do at my schools proxy works like a cham :)
