Employment Verification Letter
Does anyone have a sample Employment Verification Letter they can post here (with all your personal info deleted of course)? I was looking for one for a developer because I need to see how the technical skills are highlighted.

I have never been employed in another company, this is my first and i have never tried asking for one from previous employers(which again i reiterate that i have none).

That's a good repository, had no idea it existed, but I needed one which highlights technical skills. The wording they used, know what I mean? You change jobs often, surely you have one ;)

(Note: USA only - other countries differ.)
A lot of companies won't give more than verification of employment (X was employed by us {for a period of Y|from Z to W}), for fear of being sued. ("was asked to leave", "didn't perform", etc., could be actionable, depending on circumstances and jurisdiction.) Even "was employed by us from x/y/1970" could be actionable - the candidate is at least 54 years old, and any reference to an age over 40 could be trouble.
