The two should be able to co-exist on the same system as long as you install them to different folders. Being on different partitions should be the same.
Works alright for me :afrog:
I have visual studios 6.0 enterprise, visual studios 2003 architect, and visual studios 2005 team suite edition all on the same system, same partition, no issues?
hmm :S weird because when i tried on the same partition it didnt work it said an older verson of vb exists and to un install it before i continue with the install

I have it on my computer and laptop (both on both). it works just fine. Maybe some of your folders are conflicting?
Did you have an older version of VB.NET like 2005 beta? Did it specifically say VB 6?
You can have one of each of these versions: 5, 6, 2002, 2003, 2005.
Thank you penagate but I already have them all but VB 5 and I dont think I will be needing it. Maybe other members will take you up on your generous offer. :D
more then likely the issue occured because of installation to the same folder as vb 6 was installed to. ;)
ya that may have been it rob but no i didnt have any others other than vb6 and it was quite a while ago so i dont remember.. thanks for all the input do far :)
