In the US, "computer engineer" is pretty meaningless. There's an EE (Electrical Engineering) degree, for someone who designs the hardware and a CS (Computer Science) degree, for someone who designs software.
But some people say that the person is computer engineer. it means that he deals with hardware or sofware?
Fact: In some countries it is illegal to call yourself an engineer if you have not achieved an engineering Degree.
The same goes for Architect!
Software Engineers know more about software process, programming, etc. Computer engineers know both aspects of hardware and software in a skewed distribution.
And math engineers know more about skewed distributions.
