Changing default Icon

Can Anyone tell me how to change the default icon that gets created when one makes an .exe?

First you have to assign an icon file to a form in your project. Then under Project Properties, under the make tab, select the form that you assigned the icon to to choose that icon.

put the icon on your main form

there is an icon property... link to it and recreate the exec

now if u want to put a shortcut of the exec on your desktop
after the fact and change the icon... just create the shortcut, right-click on it and click properties
