Personal Online shops (Serious)
I have a friend who is looking to sell some pictures she painted. Does anyone know any online UK sites that would provide this service with decent fee's.
Apparently she used ebay before but it becoming unreliable and expensive. It needs to be in the uk. :)

If she's serious about it she is better off making her own website, and with one her friends being a developer (yes you Bodwad) she shouldn't have too much problems getting up and running.
Otherwise she might be better off getting in contact with her local art gallery

Re: Personal Online shops (Serious)
Paypal payments are easy to implement
Re: Personal Online shops (Serious)
ah not to worry. some hosting sites have all of that available.
godaddy.com offers a "shopping cart" etc... and assistance in set up.
should not cost much to do it.
I pay $3.65/month for hosting on godaddy. not using the shopping cart feature, but their prices are really good. and service is outstanding.

BT do a similar idea here in the UK too. Bit more pricey but easier for non-web people
