[2005] Generating XML fm .txt file via VB.net

Dear All,

I am using VB.net 2005 Express Edition. However, I have got the problem when XML is being generated with the following codes.

xtw.WriteElementString("PARTCODE", c.Range.Cells.Item(1).Range.Text.ToString)

xtw.WriteElementString("QTY", c.Range.Cells.Item(1).Range.Text.ToString)

in the block of "ORDERLINENO"

The generated XML file show me there is an unreadable string ("") at the end of element.

I tried to change fm Cells to Words

xtw.WriteElementString("PARTCODE", c.Range.Words.Item(1).Text.ToString)

xtw.WriteElementString("QTY", c.Range.Words.Item(2).Text.ToString)

The output looks better, but I can't get the value from the Doc for QTY

Could anybody help me to indicate what the problem is and any solution that I could try?
