Microsoft Certified Professional...?
hi there,
as you can tell by the title of this post i'm interested in how to become a Microsoft Certified Professional. I've read the MS site about it, but I did notice some members here have certifications in their signatures and thought they would be good people to ask.
I've read about it and was just wondering how did one become 'certified'. If anyone can give me more insight on this it would be completely helpful. Thanks in advanced - justin.
PS- not sure if this is the right forum...but i'll try.
Re: Microsoft Certified Professional...?
You need to do 3 (I think) tests. Search this particular forum for MCP or similar and you should find lots of previous discussions on the topic.

Re: Microsoft Certified Professional...?
Pass a Microsoft Test on one of their products or technologies. You become an MCP, and get a certification number which will remain yours forever, after one successful test.
Re: Microsoft Certified Professional...?
MCP is any one test but the certs have recently changed for VS 2005

Re: Microsoft Certified Professional...?
Here is how you can locate a testing facility near you - http://www.prometric.com/Candidates/default.htm
Al tests are about $125 each pass or fail.
On the MS site there is a section under the test your interested in that specifies what the test will cover.
