I've attended 3 external courses (1week each) in the past 12 months, and any external MS event I want to go to.
Training is excellent here, the whole IT team can get pretty much any course/exam they want.
I selected "External training by a contractor" though that isn't really the case but it was the best fitting.
My company pays for me to do online training for an MCP that I have to make my own time to do and because I've been so busy I haven't done any training for months.
I saw it was for programmers only after I answered..
I'm a consultant, sorry...:afrog:
*Spank*
My last job required that we took 2 classes through them per year. They're a large bank and have the resources to train their own staff.
As for now, my current job wouldn't pay for the gas to get there; even if I took PTO (Paid Time Off).
Our company apparently do both internal and external training (that just sounds dirty when you say it out loud).
im with woss.. but most of the internal training is just one on one stuff...
but they love people going out and spending their $ to get more training
Some of my departments developers (including myself) were sent to a .NET 2.0 developer conference in June 2005.
We just started using .NET 2.0 last month...
I just went through 8 hours of cascade server training...it sucked
was internal by external contractor
