Threading Questions
Hey. My program has a thread in it so that the main program doesn't get tied up when another forum is doing work. Whenever I try to abort the thread, I always get an error that the thread is trying to be aborted. Is this supposed to happen? Should I just be able to end it whenever I want, without getting an error? Any information on threads?
Thanks
John

Re: Threading Questions
i can't tell you much more then if you abort a thread that yes it raises an error or exception. it's the way the framework was designed... as i'm still learning with threads and using them myself. i know depending on what you're doing you might look into using the monitor class, but again i'm not to great with the threading thing yet.

Re: Threading Questions
Which version of .NET do you use?
What is the exception exactly?
It would be better of you post the portion of your code that throws the exception!
