Case Not Registered Error

I have a VB 6.0 program that I made. It it works great on most computer but I am getting a little negative feed back from some people. So far all of these people have new computer probably windows 2000. The program give an error on startup that says case not registered and then a long string of numbers. There is a message box to click ok, but when you do the program opens but is not connected to the data base. Can you help me?

Are you using hotkeys in your proggie. If this is the case, I've experienced the same problem and - yes - with Windows 2000.
