how to get selected value

i have drop down list in mydatagrid. and i loaded my database values in that and if i select any value from that dropdownlist it has to be shown in my textbox

i need coding to do this,becos i should get that value and have to use in next query, so tell me the coding

Use the datagrid's ItemCommand event. You can access that row's dropdown, get its selected value and set it to the textbox's text property.
