what i mean is can i do that with code if so how? i want to do that of my own and is there any references for zip a file in VB6.0. and i have one more doubt, how to create an object for session in VB6.0.

You want to completely write your own code to zip a file? Then you'll have to learn all the data here. If you want it any easier than that you have to use something like what Hack gave you the link to. One or the other - there's no way that's both easy and completely "do it yourself".
