hi everyone
i have a textfield which takes password as input so i changed the passwordchar to "*" but windows login uses a different password char ,i have attached a pic of how it looks like ...i tried looking up the character map but found nothing like that ....
any ideas how that can be acheived??
I think you'd need to change the font of the textbox.
Try changing the textbox's font to Arial (or another)...different fonts have different characters, interestingly enough :-P
Wingdings, letter "l" (lowercase L)
okay i googled it and found out that its from the windings font .but when i looked up at the character map the code it returned was 0X9F .how do i implement that ??

ignore the 0X...what's 9F when converted from hex? That's what 9F is :-)
9x16 + 15 = the answer :-)
And the answer you get, I believe, is the chr() code for it too :-P
If it's Wingdings, I think you want 108 not 159.
