start when windows starts

Is there a way to make your programs start automaticly when Windows starts? I don't want to add a shortcut in the startup-folder. I want to add the program in the registry (so you can see it when you go to System Information -> System Configuration -> Startup)

You can find registry run at

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Create there a value YourProgramName and it's value is the program path. You can look more of it by yourself.

They are a result of this
Definately not there by option.

To get rid of them just follow Paul's advice.

It didn't work

VB wouldn't allow ;) at the end of the lines, so i skipped ; (maybe thats why it didn't work)

It registred the key under:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\-2147483646\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
