Need an idea to create an application

Hi all,

Please look at the attached image and give me some ideas to create a application.

Basically I want to create a application, should have number of windows (file browsers) should list the number of files in selected directory. I want to keep refresh those file browsers for certain intervals.

This is basically file browser for more than one directory.

Please give me some good ideas to design this.

In that image, I don't need the menu bar and tool bars. Instead i will create some sort of combo box or something to select the directory.

I know I can use the file list box. but i also need icons for files.
