Re: Domain Registrar Warning
The registrars best in the business in the US are Interland (now web.com) and Network Solutions. I can vouch for both.

BTW: What did you really expect from a service that uses sexual content to sell it's Internet services...
You're NOT going to get what you See!!!!!
Re: Domain Registrar Warning
you can't really blame godaddy though... domain name registering can be tricky business, especially when you are trying to get a name that is already in use but expired...
I was looking to get a domain, and found who it was registered under, and waited for it to expire.. I then tried to check up on it but it still said unavailable.
I know that it takes some time for it to become available to register again, so i waited a month and tried again, with no luck. I contacted the company that it was registered through (not the company that was using, or i should saw squatting the domain) and they told me they hold domains for 6 months after they expire before they can be registered by anyone but the person who had it previously.. 6 MONTHS!!!!
well somehow within that 6 month period (its been about 2 now), the name is now registered to a new company in Italy no less...
oh and what does this have to do with application deployment?
