CR9 - problems with text and pictures

Hi,

I have following problems with CR9 and VB6, if anyone cuold advice how to proceed:

1) Pictures doesn't show up properly on reports. For example in one of our reports we have two pictures added, one in report header and another in footer. With some machines those pictures looks like crap, they only show up as a black squares (once red :p ). All mahcines have Windows XP's. Picture format is .bmp. I have tried to change the picture, no help. Tried to different picture size, no help. Tried to not to scale that picture on reports, no help. Any suggestions how should I try to resolve this problem? What cuold do this?

2) Printing our reports using Xerox WCP 412 -printer some of reports text becomes unreadable, not all though. For example there's one text field where should read "client" and that text has become something like this "|893jo£d{", got the point? ;) Text looks fine when looking it from screen, but when I print my report text changes to those characters. I have tried to change those fields properties, size, font, bold, underline and so on. No help. Tried to update that Xerox's drivers, nothing. Suggestions?

Ask more if anything comes to your mind. Any help would be highly apprenticed.

Point two resolved. I contacted Xerox and they told that I should install some HP PCL -driver, I did and now our reports work on Xerox printer.

But that picture problem is still pain in my ass, what should I try to do to work it out?
