ILMV
"A For Andromeda" (The book is excellent, and i am sure the forthcoming TV version will be complete garbage as all student drama projects on the BBC tend to be.
I'm glad I havent got digital TV. (My cave doesn't have good reception).
The Emperor's New Mind - for the third time.
Sherlok Holms: Death Valey (its in russian so the name might be translated wrong)

Incredibly predictable the second and third times round. :D
Skinny Dip: Carl Hiaasen, starts of with someone getting thrown off a boat.
Weirdly enough I was reading that last night and have just this second successfully created a Turing Machine!Quote:

The trackbar sets the starting position of the TM, then hit "Init".
To see the TM in action, repeatedly hit "Step" until you get a messagebox. You can see the data in the textbox changing after each step click, see the Immediate window for stepping debug info.
I must remember to stop posting relevant info in CC. It's becoming a habit. :D
You should be banned for that.
I cant wait for the movie version of the two I am reading now.
I also read Immanuel Kant's "Critique of Pure Reason" but the movie version was not as good.
You must make one that continues forever.Quote:

Its probably nothing.
Do you set alarms off when you walk through electronic barriers in stores?
No I always disable them with my subcutaneous EMP device.
That sure is an oldie but a goody. I believe it was written around 1960.Quote:

It's not possible. I did the first three in a day, but the others take at least half a day each.Quote:

Rereading 'The Hobbit' at the moment. Haven't read it since I was about 10 and it's bringing back some happy memories :). After that I've got Michael Woods 'In search of the Trojan War' lined up.
Me and some mates watched all three extended edition Lord of the Rings films in one sitting. Great films but by the end of it I just wanted someone to kill Bilbo and Sam. Anyone... please... kill them... they deserve it.Quote:

Is "The Hobit" anywhere close to "LOTR"? I mean is it as good?
It's a lot more 'Kiddy' than LOTR but it's still a good story. Don't expect much depth but it'll make you smile if you're a LOTR fan.
I'm planning a Star Wars marathon with some friends.Quote:

Magician by Raymond. E. Feist for about the tenth time. An awesome book, shame it is too big to be made into a film
Thanks for the suggestion. Both of the books I mentioned are not in english, but rather in my native language. I'm affraid wouldn't understand half of it if it was in English. I had to google a little to find the titles in English.Quote:
