Outlook Web Acces
Can I configure Outlook 2003 for use with our exchange server? I am not connected to our domain/server, but I want to avoid having to go to the Outlook Web Access website everytime I want check my work email. Also this would be nice to because I have a personal email acoount (pop3), so if I could just go into outlook and check my work and personal email all in one stop. I know this works when your connected to the server.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks.

Re: Outlook Web Acces
You can add your works email account to your local Outlook so you dont need to use OWA or log into your works domain.
If you have the POP and SMTP info as wel as the username and password then you can set it up.
I have 6 email accounts all being managed from within my local home Outlook.

Re: Outlook Web Acces
There might be a reason that they've provided you with a web mail interface for your outlook inbox... they probably don't allow for it. Else they should have probably given you configuration information (which, if they did, means that you can connect and I just wasted your time with this post)

Re: Outlook Web Acces
Some places give the OWA as a means for the "technically challenged" to gain access to their email, but yes there are some that have it locked down tight and dont want you to connect through any unsecure means.
