this question been on one of the late night quiz shows and i want to know how to work it out iv got the answers I just don’t know how to get to that number.
Ninety Divided by
five multiplied by
ten minus twelve
the answer 7894
I am guessing its got to do with hex numbers and roman numbers, but that stuff is past me, love to know how to work it out

It's an interesting problem, but I don't quite know what the clues are saying...
Are they on separate lines for a reason, or is it supposed to be one long statement? Is there any more info?

It seems that these late night quiz shows charge people to call in and give an answer, so they can really use any method or number system they want. Many people think it is just a scam to get people to call in. They give an answer, and not the methodology, so who knows if there is really a way to work it out or not. I'm guessing its just a bunch of crap, and wouldnt spend much time on it, since no one seems to know how to actually solve these types of things when you search....
