Sometimes vBulletin shows me offline in userprofile and the green light in posts is turned off even if I'm logged in.
The funny thing is, it shows my login info correctly in the top box though I am 'offline'. :D
I don't have invisible mode enabled.

I have noticed that too but when I have been viewing a page for a long time, I assume I get logged out, and when I post or refresh the online green light is grey indicating that I am offline. It takes another refresh for me to see the green light and I guess be actually online.
Default timeout is 900 seconds.
But the point is that we shouldnt have to refresh or navigate to other pages more then once to relogin and be active.
You are logged in. The first time you refresh it relogs you in. Its' just that the online/offline thingo doesn't update every single time a page is loaded. That way it saves DB queries.
So, you may not always show as online immediately after you log in, which is the moment you get the page delivered.
