installation problem

i've configured already mysql and apache and tested it. when i install php following the instruction in the tutorial, at the last part, testing to create the phpinfo.php, i didnt get the exact result, http not found when i run it on the browser. where could this possibly be wrong? where will i create exactly a php code?

What was the error your recieved? Was it HTTP 401 File Not Found?

In your apache root directory there should be a folder called htdocs is that where you placed your phpinfo.php file?
