I aint clicking that, like you said, its a virus.
theres supposed to be a worm activated tommorow. Estimating a good amount of home users have it. It will just delete your files.

If she looked anything like Klinger (MASH) then i'm not suprised.
Another damn Windows virus.
You can also get a free online visus scan for free from the Symantec Norton AV site.

Linux itself is a virus.
I'm so Mikrosoft hardcore, I spell it with a K.
Hmm, could be easy to code a small little file deleter I guess, but it would have to be run under root, or an account with root privelidges.
A shell script that runs simply:
rm -r *.*
I'm pretty sure that W2K Server understands a few Unix commands. Haven't tried to use them in a few years, though.
Let's try rm -r on a useless system with win2k3 on it
Wonder what M$ would do if it worked
This thread is so getting deleted
How bout attacking the immune systems of the computer like AIDS does, such as Norton or McAfee?
Because that would take the target of Windoze itself :(
lol the cloest thing i've ever written to a virus was a prog that went fulllscreen and flashed annoying colours over and over again hid the mosue cursor and blocked taskmanager mind you it was a joke on a friend of mine :p (my friend uses process explorer anyway so he just eneded it with that) funny as hell when he called and was like "uhhh Matt i think your prog messed up" :p i was laughing for a good 15 min ;)
*cough* lets stop this topic of convo, before i open up the ban menu... ;)
The funniest thing i've done is to Install Netop School student module on my mates computer, I was remote controlling his PC and blocking him out, adding policies to things etc. etc. and he couldnt figure it out, i'm sat about to burst into laughter, but he's only sat on the chair next to me
Could you screenie the ban menu please ? I've always wondered what that "side" of things looked like.
Mr. Pino don't ban me :eek2:
For admodistrators just search the user in ACP and select the Banned Usergroup :pQuote:

So, back to discussing the "damn" new virus threat and how to avoid it... :)
OK, i've set my time forward... :)

Setting your time forward is only going to start it sooner
I wouldn't be too worried. I really don't think it'll live up to the hype. We've had such a drought on virus' lately (Sober and MyTob was the only ones in the last year that even made a "legitimate" attempt towards our network) that we're making big deals out of small ones.
And considering this is a daytime triggered virus; it's basically set up to be a "demonstration." Create fear of "1337 H4X0Rz" without much of an actual bite.
No, initial thing is that if it's here, it would have by now affected my laptop, seeing as it hasnt, nothing to worry about, I hope :cool:Quote:
