using a fancontroller

It looks like I have everything hooked up except for the fan controller, and of course the CPU that hasn't arrived yet. I'm not sure I understand this fan controller. The end of the wires for the fan controller look like this:

That's also how some of the fan wires look. I believe the fan controller is expecting a small slot for a three prong wire, but it's just not there. This makes me wonder about the fans, though. The fans that have wires like the picture shown have no place on the motherboard either.

Can someone enlighten me on this? I'm really not understanding what to do. I hope this makes sense. I was going to post pictures, but the quality was so bad you couldn't see.

These 2 prong/wire fans should still fit in and run fine. You won't however get the fan's RPM, which is what the third prong/wire is used for.

The problem is both ends have the same connector! The end of the fan controller is a 2 prong wire, and the connector for a few of the system fans is the same exact thing. It doesn't make any sense.

hmm that is odd, you can probably get a converter, although fans arn't expencive, you might want to just get a couple of 3 prong.
