data report is creating .tmp temp files - why?

I have started to use the data report, and have noticed that now there are loads of .tmp temporary files in the directory that i'm developing my app in, i think it creates a new .tmp file every time i create a data report.

Why are these created? And more importantly, how can i stop it from happening, or how do i clean it up? :confused:

You cannot stopt that from happening but you may freely delete those files every once often. They are only created in development.

so when i compile the app into an .exe, it won't happen on the target machine - no .tmp files will appear?
