Is there a freeware app which can copy tracks from a CD (legit CD I might add) in MP3 format? The only reason i ask is that the MP3 format I can copy onto my mobile to use as ringtones and also to copy onto my MP3 player?

are you trying to extract audio files form CD to disk??
