Yes, do a google search for "VBA Password Recovery" and you will get a bunch of hits for legitimate programs that use alogorithums and brute force attacks to figure out the password.
There is no way to gain any type of programmatic access to any underlying function, property, or method that will unprotect it.

Oh, I was just stating that your better off using a utility type of program to do a brute force attack on it since there is no way to program a recovery for the password.
Search for "Advanced Office Password Recovery Professional Edition"
Types of attack:
- Brute-Force attack (trying all possible combinations),
- Brute-Force with Mask (If some Password symbols are known),
- Dictionary attack.
Professional Edition of AOPR has a "VBA Backdoor". Feature that allows to bypass VBA Password checking in any Application.
hi ,
Is there a trial version online that works?? I just need it for a single Excel file to open its VBA code.
What are these above, are they features in the Advanced Office Password Recovery Professional Edition.Quote:

I have found the trial version but does not do anything. Am I doing something wrong. I have never done any type of cracking before so please give me some hints please.
There should be not much to it. Just run it on the desired file. Perhaps there is more documentation on the password recovery site.
