update existing xml via text boxes

Hi all I was wondering if this is possible - I have an xml file that contains details for an image viewer which is driven by an xml file. Is it possilble to be able to load all the entries into text boxes on a form you know like how ever many entries there are to disply this in a form containing text boxes. Then when the images are renamed get it to update the xml file. This is the xml that I am generating through adding files to a folder and running a small vb app. I was wondering if this could be acheived by another app that will load the xml file and generate textboxes containg the existing information and allow it to be changed and when maybe a button is clicked it will update the xml file accrodingly.
