Re: Interesting problem ....
Its not really my area but I believe that they are Streaming the audio so there is no actual file on your system. (Cool site! :thumb:)
Re: Interesting problem ....
its not streaming... its just saving it to a temporary file.... right click it and say "save target as" and then save it whereever you want to... and u are definetaly in the wrong thread here. this is a general PC question
Re: Interesting problem ....
Shes not wrong as she stated its not a programming issue per se, but rather an issue on locating the temp file and saving it.
Moved from Classic VB.
Re: Interesting problem ....
As MET777 said, you can right-click and select 'Save Target As' or alternately, you can find the files in your Temporary Internet Files folder.
Re: Interesting problem ....
What temp file? As MET777 said using "Save target as..." creates a real file so I don't really understand what the problem is...
Re: Interesting problem ....
I see said the blind dog. :D
So can this be used for streaming audio or video too? I'm not a multimedia guru
Re: Interesting problem ....
actually, i've never seen that happen. if it plays in u're windows media player then u have to use buffer of 100% befire it gets saved in the windows temporary internet files folder. then u do have to do a search coz there's gonna be a lot of files there. mine's usually 50 mb cache.
Re: Interesting problem ....
I agree. I used to have an app with my soundblaster card, much like the Windows Recorder, except that it allowed unlimited file length. I used to record 4 hours at a time off the radio, plugged into my line input jacks. I think this is the only method to save a streamed file.
Re: Interesting problem ....
yes, i can copy and download those files :D
