error during installation

why is it that when i install my finished project to Win2k i got an error?

error stated that needs to upgrade the system, and i click OK button, and then new info window open that has 2 buttons YES/NO, if YES system will automatically update, else cancel installation. i select YES, then the system restart, but then again after system restart, same thing happened.

why? but in XP ok... i made that project in XP... is it possible the .dll or .ocx
files aren't in Win2k?

the package and deployment doesn't automatically copy that files?

help me out regarding this... tnx in advance... :duck:

Of course I do. That's why I gave you the information to read so that you would.

Most likely the Package & deployment wizard couldn`t find some dependency of a component you`re using. Personally, I prefer the ********** & Innosetup combo. They`re free and do a better job of finding dependencies!
