I was sitting there, messing with GetCurrentHwProfile. It failed. Dang. I checked Err.LastDLLError. It was 120. I checked the error codes document:
ERROR_NOT_IMPLEMENTED.
Huh?
A function exists in the Win32 API, but it was not implemented?
What kind of trash is that?
This compelled me to write this little application.

So, he did use the API to get the windows username....
I thought he just put
"this copy of windows registered to Dennis Wrenn etc..."
on the copy he gave me.....
