Send a PM to MartinLiss and ask him if he would check it out for you.
This is odd.
Did your rep total diminish?
Don't worry, you'll never find out who it was, unless they give Marty the green light :)
Anyone can rep any post and there is no obligation to use the comment field, so your circumstances in fact aren't strange in the least.
If no one else posted in it, and it was resolved by him, then no one, IMO, should have been giving him a negative rep for it.Quote:

So do you reckon I should mail somebody on this one. Not overly bothered, but if I can get eh points back, then great,, bonus...

3 points huh? Then whoever did that was not a noobie.Quote:

I've begun looking into it.
If it was resolved without an explaination ora posted solution then that may a reason but nobody would know other then the Rep'er.
Pretty harsh reason to give anybody a neg, but probably somebody just had a bad day and lashed out.
At least now it can't happen again. You will get to see a comment.
I hope people don't start typing -dglienna :)
Thanks for the idea...Quote:

It doesnt matter if they forge a signature as Martin can see who the real Rep'er is.
He always could. Isn't it still going to come down to "I thought this was wrong for X reason" even if that isn't the case?" I understand that comments can't be jobberish, but who interprets them? I've gotten a few that wouldn't stand up to public scrutiny, so I wonder what the benefits could be? I don't see how this helps the situation. Not to mention my situation, which is "unique" in that I don't see any comments anyways...
Well we wouldnt create any kind of workaround for a single member but for the most part this would help and yes there would be exceptions which are unavoidable. If they leave some kind of comment, the odds are, hopefully, that you would get some kind of understanding from it.
