It was me, I admit, I ate a rather large curry on saturday night
I blame Sky News
I am so glad that the UK doesn't have big nuclear plants...if they did they whole world would have been toasted a long time ago. You guys are worse then the russians. East block country for sure...get your acts togheter. Might be hard after all those green house gases you release now. Because I guess all kids born in the UK the next 5 years will have 6 fingers, and their head under their arm....poor sods...
Bush has been a busy guy.
He blew up the levies in New Orleans after Katrina so that a lot of black people (which he hates) would be drowned.
I think he even directed the hurricane toward them.
Of course he did. Bush even planned Pearl Harbor. He used the John Titor time machine.
The Crusades? Orchistrated by GWB.
He is also pulling Planet X towards the earth with his impulser ray to whipe us all out.
Oh and he killed Richard Pryor because Pryor knew about the oil explosion. Think it is coinsidence these events happened so close?
Bush caused last year's tsunami because he kept flushing his toilet continuously in an attempt to get rid of a very large meal he had.
George Bush even caused himself - he used the time machine to go back to the forties and...
Have you ever wondered why his dad is also called George Bush? And why you never see them in the same room together?
The question still remains, who caused George Bush. :eek2:Quote:

In seriousness, we are not being told everything. I have a family member who is a sargeant in the bomb squad at the metropolitan police. That oil refinery was listead as a priority one target as it was simple to disrupt, with maximum damage and effect. Think about it, all someone would have to do is throw a match into one of the tanks, the rest would simply follow.
Also, the disruption is yet to be felt, especially by heathrow and gatwick as they have dedicated pipelines from that refinery for their aviation fuel
[REMOVED BY MOD] - bad taste
I would argue that it is far from funny
There are so many easy targets in the UK that it would take an entire army to guard them 24/7. But, I don't want to argue, so I removed that comment. :)
True, but it makes you realise how severe the damage could be. Can you imagine if that had been a nuclear power station
I think the public is a bit misinformed about the danger nuclear power plants pose.Quote:

First of all, it would require a lot of explosive power to breach the containment building’s reinforced concrete shell. Once that is accomplished, what is the scenario you envision?
If a second charge were later used to blow up the core then you have what amounts to a poorly designed “dirty bomb” that is placed away from population centers.
The most damage that could be done by someone at a nuclear power plant is the panic it would cause in the uninformed public.
