2) it also specified one API Viewer. is it safe to use? is anyone using it?

API Guide from Allapi.net
I have been using it for at least 3 years. Its a valuable reference tool but I use the API VIewer more as I mostly need the API definitions and not the examples too often. The API Guide is good as an off-line version of the allapi website. Never tried it on 98 as its too old of an os for me. It should run fine for you though. :thumb:
thank you Rob,
so i dont need these VB 5 libraries? it will work fine on my PC then?
are you using the same API viewer they have mentioned in their site?
It should work with VB6 runtimes as I dont have VB5.
Yes, I am using the very same API Viewer from their site. It is updated to be able to format the APIs for .NET code as well. August 8 2004 database update is the latest. Be sure to download the db update. ;)
thank you RobDog.
