Why does call need to be in front of a function call when more than 1 parameter is...
Why does "Call" need to be placed in front of a function call when more than one parameter is being passed to a function?
This has cost me time in the past and I just lost another 20 minutes because of it. Sooner or later I'll remember but knowing why might help!
I'm using Excel 2000 and when Call is omitted I get an error saying "= expected."
Thanks,
Dave

If you enclose the arguments or parameters in parenthesis then you either need to set a variable = to the results of the function or place Call as the receiving variable.
VB Code:
Dim strString As String
strString = SomeFunction("Test")
'Or
SomeFunction "Test"
'Or
Call SomeFunction("Test")
