Dave: "WHere are you???"
Me: "In Bed.."
Dave " *** u doing there, wanna get o the club andf practice?
Me: "Not this F***kin early im not!!!!"
Dave: "Youve forgot aint you..."

Dve: "Clocks..."
Me: "Oh F**K!!!!!!"
Well done...
kai
I had to shut my phone off and turn it back on to get the clock synced.
I set all my clocks back last night before I went to bed. :D
What does it all matter. The universe will have long for gotten us all after Sol goes nova.
Plan ahead.
I don't care what time I get up on Sunday anyways. I guess I'll care tomorrow though. Daylight savings is ridiculous if you ask me anyways.
I agree it is pointless. Just reminds us here that its near the end of Autumn and were gonn start freezing out A$$es off for another 3-4 months of the bloody year
( Yes.. here in britain we do have a summer contrary to popular belief.)
Adn it provides employees to ahve an excuse to be an hour late if it falls on a weekday..
BUT LAW AND BEHOLD!!!!!
Theyre not an hour early when the clocks go forward.. hhmmmmm
conspiracy?? I think so..
And that is becasue ... ???Quote:

I went out at 2am (when you're officially supposed to set your clock to 1 am) to get some food from taco bell cus their drive-through window is open till 2am.
Long story short I got no tacos :'(
Just had to set the DVD recorder's clock. It flashed a message that my timer recording was going to start soon, when it was supposed to start in an hour! :eek2:
You get an extra hour of sleep the next day.Quote:

Yes, I remember my days of going out to clubs and when it was DL Savings you'd think that you would get an extra hour to drink but noooo, last call as usual and when 2 am hits the bar is closed. :( :lol:Quote:

They close at two? Here they stay open as long as there are people around. I rarely go home before 6 AM. (of course, they server drinks all the time)Quote:

I got it. But here that doesn't happen. Everything is open for as long as people want to stay.Quote:

In Canton we don't move the clocks. Why do you move the clock?
because clocky need exeresize. my clock very movement-making. move with him and feel the power! ja.
I make a clock in VBasic for my Unix shell project.
It's nearly finished it.
Wow, that is actually harder to read than the binary clock.
It looks like 3 separate pieces to me... :) So, when you done are you going to bolt them together or something ???Quote:

I nearly had a heart attack this morning. Walked out the door and the sun was up (Normally it's pretty dark). So i started to run to the car, then it hit me "Oh yeah daylight savings time". I still had to check my cell phone just to make sure i wasn't really late to work.
Apparently this is the most dangerous time of the year to be driving too as. This is supposedly because it's the first time you've had to drive home after work in the dark, so take care on the road guys :thumb:
I read the link referring to why Daylight saving time is good...
I just lost a half hour on that link...
When do I get that half-hour back?
The point is to save energy.Quote:

Anyway I think its a good idea.
Next year smarty. :rolleyes:Quote:

in the next city over from me (Buffalo NY) .. the bars serve till 4am.. must be nice
just wait a year, it'll cancel each other out.
Or wait six months... :afrog:
It was a bit lighter this morning but the winter will soon catch up again and now it's only 15:23 and its getting dark. Soon ill go to work ing the dark and come home in the dark. Roll on summer time. I always thought the daylight saving was so farmers could get an extra hour of light from the day in the winter/summer. We hardly have any farmers any more so whats the point? On the brightside in the pub it doesnt matter how dark it is outside.
