Hey guys:
I am thinking of taking the MOUS certifications. Going to start with OutLook, then go onto Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Does anyone know where I can find out additional information about the MOUS certs, how many questions, what kind of things the exam(s) covers, etc?
I can get the exams for $60 each. If anyone knows any additional info, please advise if you can. Thanks!
Wossy can give you advice on Outlook - VBA intergration.
Go to microsoft's website and search for MOUS. It will show you what the requirements are and what you should know for each type fo test.
I would recommend starting with Word as its the easiest. Outlook is the hardest as its the most complex.

You only need to pass one (1) exam to be considered MOUS (Specialist) certified.

Do you feel that the MOUS certification has helped you in your career in any way? I know the MCP, MCAD, & MCSD do allot but i was just curious.
Well my career hasn't even started yet, but i must say it still does make a difference, i feel that as soon as i mentioned it i got my course.
The person who i talked to about my course was delighted to see i had already started taking on things like these.
That is how I got my first real professional programming job. I had got my MCP on my own and during the interview they said they like that I was a self starter and investing in my own career.
Probably best to go for the newest version of Office you can (XP), that way the qualification will last longer

Your only about 2 years behind the times. :) Office 2003 is da bomb. Many more improvements over XP and 2000. I posted a link to download free trial versions of all 2003 Office suite apps. Let me find it again.

MS Office 2003 Free Download from MS on any/all Office apps like Office Pro, One Note, Project, Visio, etc.
