Hi everyone
Got a quick question
how do you attach an image to your post?
You need to reference an already uploaded imageon the web or on your own webserver by using the [img] tags.

Moved from VB.NET
What I'm trying to do is upload a printscreen with a picture of a form in one of my apps
The purpose is I have a question that may need visualization.
The image has been pasted in a .doc file
When I try to place it on my post using the "manage attachments" option it gets posted like this:
[img]cases.doc[/img]
what am I doing wrong?
Save the image to a image file like *.jpg or *.gif using MS Paint or other image software. Then upload that image with your post by clicking on the Manage Attachments button during a reply post. If you attach only one imagefile it will automatically display in your post like mine below.
In addition to what the previous post stated....
If you have captured your screen, then paste it into PAINT instead of Word. Paint should by on your system. In Paint, save the image as a .jpg or gif image.
Brad!
:thumb: OK thanks guys
I think I get it now.
What I do is paste the screen into Word and "Save As Web Page" - the JPG is created in a sub-folder.
That is an interesting idea that I will have to try.Quote:

Got any other image editing program? When saving as JPG, you can set a higher level of compression so that the size is substantially reduced.Quote:
