Hi,
Vb Help Writer is quite good aswell, try it out, you can find a sharewareware version at their web site(http://www.vbhelpwriter.com/).
Why not use the Help Compiler shipped with VS? It's free and easy to use.
Megatron,
Is the Help Compiler shipped with VB6 package as well or is it only shipped with Visual Studio?
I have Visual Basic 6.0 Professional Edition and Visual C++ Enterprise Edition, but I don't see the Help Compiler.
One ships with the C++ Standard Edition in the Tools. You would think for sure it would be in the Enterprise package too.
Its not in vb6 pro...
Actually it is on the VB 6 Pro disc it just doesn't install automatically.
Look an the disc at \common\tools\vb\hcw
there is actually a lot of stuff that doesn't install.
There is also one that uses HTML files instead of RTF files on the disc under the dir \HTMLHelp

I have been using an HTML Help from Solutionsoft which seems to work pretty well and best of all it is free.

Hi Tom,
I'm using HELPSCRIBBLE> It's easy to use. Making a helpfile means nothing when you use this tool.
You can get it as shareware. Registering is not expensive.
Have a look at : http://www.jgsoft.com
Succes!
There is also an HTML Help Workshop from Microsoft.
