Any can help me in this

Hi friends, I am a new user here. I want a small job to be done. Creating a emailing software( actually a bulk mailer) which can send some mails to subscribers of my site. Well Actually there is ASP components for this. But I am interested in sending monthly newsletter for my members. When I looked for emailing s/w I found its costly( I am from India. Today's dollar exchange rate is 44.29 Rs) So I decided to write this peice of code with my little knowledge of VB. But when I came accross the threading model I got a little help from web and even I got help for sending mails which directly contacts the smtp of the reciever. This takes a lot of time to send a single mail( connectivity/netword delays). I want a code which can use my mail server to shoot the mails and After that the mail server will do the job.

Can't you create a Distribution List in Outlook, and send them manually?

Bulk mail to my site members means there is a lot of members. Actually it is a penfriends site. Currently with 4000 Members but growing. It will be best if we have something do that automatcally.

PLease advice some help in devloping
