This "All User" email just circulated at work, it has been verified authentic...
[EDIT]: We've just had another email saying its a hoax now. Oh well, looks like someone is going to lose their job at the company that sent it to us.

For your information, a couple of weeks ago, in the Odeon Cinema at Festival Park, Stoke-on-Trent a young lady sat in one of the chairs and...

Re: [HOAX] Public facilities...
They're not trying to be funny, just trying to scare everyone

the last place i worked actually had a real incident(s) of this - syringes in vending machine dispensing trays and in the hand towel box.Set up securtiy cams etc, no one was ever caught for it. I switched to a packed lunch
Re: [HOAX] Public facilities...
Some people do sick things. We once had an article up on the staff notice board at work about two children who were almost killed because someone rigged a flume with chicken wire
Re: [HOAX] Public facilities...
I didn't know what a flume was, and still don't understand.

1. A narrow gorge, usually with a stream flowing through it.
2. An open artificial channel or chute carrying a stream of water, as for furnishing power or conveying logs.
3. A very small swimming pool designed with a propeller or pump to generate a current, allowing a swimmer to swim in place.
Why not protect either one from children?
Re: [HOAX] Public facilities...
Re: [HOAX] Public facilities...
That doesn't sound good. How did they get access to the pool? Doesn't anyone check the pool each day?
Re: [HOAX] Public facilities...
They clearly didn't check it that day. The report that I read didn't say what kind of injuries they had but just thet they were serious.

Re: [HOAX] Public facilities...
A water slide in NOrway was rigged with razor blades a few years ago....that must have hurt....
Re: [HOAX] Public facilities...
Those who sabotage such things should be made to suffer their own actions. That would stop them doing it, hopefully terminally.
Re: [HOAX] Public facilities...
lock them up for years and make them sleep on razor blades instead of beds
Re: [HOAX] Public facilities...
what was the ride called, the Razor's Edge? :afrog:
Re: [HOAX] Public facilities...
