God I Hate Ms Word

I'm pulling out my hair. I'm trying to edit a word document, and the stupid application keeps adding extra pages or formating the font to random crap whenever I add or remove a lines, spaces or tabs. That and I'm wrestling with the automated numbering system

Turn off auto format:

On the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect Options, and then click the AutoFormat As You Type tab.

Select or clear the options you want

And maybe take time to read a tutorial :)
