generating report for the wrong values

hi ,im writing a report with crystal report 10 and vb6 .i have given a parameter which is studentID.when i enter the value for the parameter for the first time it generates ,but for the second time it generates the report for the the first value.why?please help

You have probably set "Set Data With Report" option (it's under File menu) so uncheck it and save your file.
Also, explore all other options such "Refresh ...", etc ...
