Tell me, why does continental Europe drink from such small glasses? Why not the pint glasses?

You don't need big glasses when you can drink all night instead of being kicked out at 10 pm. ;)

A 0.5glass is 0.02 less then a pint if I am not wrong....so ehh..not too much smaller....but at least the point in Norway is that if you where going to order a pint all the time, then you won't be rich for long...8Pounds for a pint is not something students like to pay to many of..:)

My liver was removed many years ago :D

Coming from SA, one big beer drinking community, I must say Beijing Beer is great. It's cheap (3 yuan = about 40 us cents?) buy you a 600 ml bottle. Drink it on the pavement or street at one of the many street vendor's doing chinese bbq or whatever, you serve yourself in little paper or plastic cups.
Cool to xperience to live as a stranger in a strange place, sitting there getting p!ssed with the locals.
