NoteMe
Engine designer
Responsibilities / Contributions:
- World to screen coordinates
Map 2D map coordinates to 3D, then back to 2D screen coordinates. - Camera and movement
The camera is close related to the world to screen transform. The game has a buildt in FPS camera, that will move by using keyboard and mouse. - Culling
The game uses a costum culling method that inherits many properties from a quad tree. This algorithm is very fast, but will cost us more memory. - General math
There is a lot of complex math behind a 3D engine. I am responsible for all math behind FOV, Collision, Coordinates and so on.
