The Outlook Express with SP2 is not working for me? Any clues? I cannot actually edit the email. Nor view the contents of email. the content pane is totally disabled? What do you think might be the reason? I attach the screenshot!
Thanks

sridharavijay,
Have you updated your Office with the latest Office SP's?
Moved to General PC.
Yes... I do have Office 2002 SP3... do you think Office is the problem? But why? Office doesnt have anything to do with Outlook express right?
sridharavijay,
Of course it does... What version of Outlook Express do you have installed?
Those buttons are disabled by default when creating a new message, they enable themselves when you begin typing the body of the message, or when it has focus.
I have OE 6.00.2900.2180
I also have HTML selected for options.
Thanks

sridharavijay,
I just tried it and as soon as I clicked on the message potion of the screen the area enabled. Try that.
Yeah, I realised how stupid it sounded when I posted it, so I changed it after I did a little bit of an investigation into what I said and changed it to what it is now.
Sorry! The area is not getting focussed even. a single click, a double click, a triple, a quadruple clicks didnt work in that area.. neither any Key_Press event worked. There is something wrong.
Try restarting your computer and see if it works then, also, try tabbing into the body field.
sounds silly, is your Office a legit copy?
Have you set up an email account in O.E.?
You're not the only one but to clarify, he is NOT using Microsoft Outlook, he is using Microsoft Outlook Express, these are two different products.Quote:

You don't need to, I tested it w/o an account as I use Outlook, not Outlook Express (anymore).Quote:
