Actually I think its a group of servers. Things seems back to normal now. Maybe we were hit with a bot or something?
I think it's because of the IBM Server System ad but I don't have any proof.
It would be nice to blame it on adds :), but I doubt that's the couse of it...Quote:

If it had something to do with the adds, then that would be the only proble, the vbforums should still load as usual...
I have still been getting the lost cursor issue with the other ad (windows server system or such) and when the focus is taken off of the reply box usually my kepresses send a reply before its time or sends me navigating back and I loose my text. :(
That hapens to me too, but i blame it on my wireless mouse because it does that on other web-pages also.
The bs-server*.com hangs pretty often.
I've previously contacted Brad about this but so far nothing has been done as far as I can tell.Quote:

I've only faced this problem once, a few days ago... very rarely before that. I would think that location matters too.
More errors and slowdown this morning. I see brad posted a new thread for this here.
I could not visit the vbforums like 5 minutes ago !
I kept getting "the page cannot be displayed" error
I have been getting that, on and off, all morning. It is almost 12:00 noon here, this has been happening since around 6:30 a.m. But, it eventually comes back.Quote:

I have 6 Gems and Yes, I am an admitted VBF Addict and member of the VBF Addicts Group. There was a thread in CC. :D
Almost 17K posts :D
Still getting timeout and connection errors. The site was down for a few minutes :( ... withdrawls for a few minutes. :D
A few times today... around 4PM (GMT+1) and an hour ago.. Connection refused, DNS not found.
A strange dark part of my brain now thinks VBF is runned on a infected with blaster Windows machine rebooting every 30 minutes ;)
Down for almost 10 minutes here...I've decided to take up needlepoint to help while away the time between forum hiccups.Quote:

Did you see Brad's Post
I completely missed it myself until just a moment ago, and he posted it three hours ago! :eek2:
Post #13 in our thread. ;)
I figured it may help them to know when the issues are happening since they are hopefully working on it. :)

Down completely for about half hour, starting an hour ago.
And again, this morning for the last 45 minutes....

OK guys I know it's been awful but we don't need a minute by minute update. Brad is in contact with the people who can fix this.
